Boy in Florida Set on Fire by Classmates

This is unbelievable and really gets under my skin. A 15 year old boy was set on fire in Deerfield Beach, FL by kids he knew.

What the heck is going on down there?

Part of the problem is at the school. Deerfield Beach Middle School is no less than a zoo run by impulse-driven, uncultured and unmannered pre-teens.

Parents must take responsibility for their children instead of abdicating responsibility and expecting teachers to do a parent's job!

That means if your child is caught having sex in the bathroom, you leave work to come pick your child up instead of being unavailable.

If your child cusses at a teacher, gets caught stealing, or is fighting with another student, you drop whatever it is you are doing and come get your kid.

Then you stick by the rules you laid down. Otherwise, you're just raising another problem who will hurt someone, who we will have to remove from the community AND who we will have to pay for to sit in jail contemplating how "society" did him or her wrong.

Hank Asher Sued by Reed Elsevier and LexisNexis

This story will warm your heart.

Hank Asher, data guru, sells his online public records company to LexisNexis in 2004. LexisNexis is a US subsidiary of Reed Elsevier (yes, the very same Reed Elsevier that publishes FAKE medical journals). Alright well, they aren't exactly FAKE... Merck - yeah the pharmaceutical company - PAID Reed Elsevier to produce a compilation of previous articles about its crap-product Vioxx.

So Reed Elsevier publishes this fake medical journal, passing it off as "new" research and oh-by-the-way, forgetting to publish the fact that Merck paid Reed Elsevier to make this "journal."

They're such good folks. Now back to Hank Asher.

This guy just started a company down in Florida trying to catch sexual predators. Well, HE isn't going after them, but he's got some sort of program that makes it easy for The Law Man to catch those scumbags. (No offense Ladies; next time I'll write "Law Ladies.")

Hank Asher is giving his program away to The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. What a guy, right?

Ha! LexisNexis doesn't think so. They're suing his ass.

It seems Reed Elsevier and LexisNexis think Mr. Asher is violating his Non-Compete Agreement.

Does this mean LexisNexis gives its software away for free too?
